Letter From Kelly ⇒![]() DEAR READERS, I had a wonderful time at the RWA San Francisco conference and met up with some long-time author friends and met some cool new readers! I did not take home an award but it was an awesome experience to be a RITA nominee and to be able to attend. I'll be posting pics on site once I can manage it. For now I'm gearing up for the release of Invisible Touch next month on September 16th! Yes! I'm so excited. I have some giveaways planned for August, September and October, check it out here as well as the on-line launch with authors on the Secret Fates blog (secretfates.blogspot.com) with shared secrets and giveaways from September 1 - 30, 2008!. This event you don't want to miss! I do have a surprise Graffiti Girl signing this month with YA author, Shelley Adina, at Borders in Oakridge Mall, San Jose, CA on August 16th 1-3 pm. Please stop by if you are in the area--we would love to meet you! Here's more generous cyber buzz for Invisible Touch:
Also there are a couple of updates on site. I'm trying out a guestbook for those of you who are a little shy to email me. You can leave a comment here by clicking "Post". It's lonely right now so give it go! Don't forget, I've updated the Invisible Touch section with an excerpt, short story, and a book video. I'm also planning events for September so keep checking with my events to see if I'll be in your area! Thanks again for visiting and for the support. I hope you are as excited for the release of Invisible Touch as I am. :) ~kelly (Posted: 08.07.08) More of the Latest...05.01.08 NEW EVENTS: Book signings and a workshop scheduled for this summer. See what's happening and where under events. :) 03.03.08 TEEN MAG: Graffiti Girl is mentioned in the Winter 2008 issue of TEEN magazine by VITs (Very Important Teens) who were asked about books they couldn't put down. To say I was over the moon, is putting it mildly! I'm thrilled! Check Out YA Fresh: Be sure to stop by the YA Fresh blog for news on YA books, authors, and all that's fresh! |
