"Cheers"

What’s Happening: I struggled all of August to meet my YA deadline. Unfortunately the struggle showed. I knew it wasn’t ready so before my agent could look at the draft she got me a 2 week extension. After K sent her thoughts back to me, oh did I ever need this extension.

"Project Limbo"

It’s kind of weird knowing I have a fresh slate to start the next project. I haven’t been in this situation for the past 8 months. There has been always something waiting for me as I finished up one piece of a project. Mainly lots of revisions. =) I have two ideas bouncing

"Hello New Imac"

I caved this weekend. You may recall my computer problems this year. My ol’ imac has been overheating and snapping off at odd times. And for about 4 months it’s been doing this shaky thing with the screen as if there’s a miniature earthquake going on inside it. It

"Survivor Twist & Turn-Off"

Okay, so I’m a reality show fanatic. I watch a whole mess of reality shows and I have my favorites. I know there are issues on these shows that don’t always make me happy. Basically, you can’t please everyone. I think I’ve skipped only one season of Survivor. B

"Home Again"

Long stretches of freeways, two kids with snacks, and every two hours a potty stop. I have returned from quite the road trip. =) I don’t know if I’ll ever be used to LA traffic, but Disneyland was awesome. The kids had a blast. The next couple of days we were surrounded by

"Contract Cancelled"

I was going to post this tomorrow, but what the hay… This morning I received the official news: The Bombshell line–where I signed my first contract–is closing as of January 2007. That means my two books sold to Bombshell this year will not be published and my contrac

"Busy Week"

Wow, this is a busy week. Yes, I’m still writing and editing on my YA novel due Aug 28th. My CP is an awesome help to me at this hectic time. Reading chunks of the book in a couple of days and returning her suggestions quickly. (Thank you, Tina!) Heads up, I’m off to a wed
