"Revision Letter"

It arrived.
The Revision Letter.
My first official Revision Letter from an editor, I might add.
{swallowing hard} I’ve been waiting, wondering when it would show up in my inbox. Well, I do not have to wonder any longer.
It’s 3 pages long–okay, more like 2.5 pages–with about 4 main revisions, and a bunch of specifics that have to be either altered or embellished. Nothing that’s too out there or changes my story as a whole. Just suggestions to make my book a better story.
I could handle this in a variety of ways, one of them being a major freak-out. But come on, when have major freak-outs ever helped anyone?
No, I will merely go down the list, checking off each edit as I tackle it. Simple Simon.
No sweat.
Riiight.
